If you don’t enjoy a WOD with snatch, then you just aren’t human.
Strength - Snatch:

Stoked about the new PR but really want to work on this lift. I know that I can easily move heavier weight with improved technique. Not at all defeated by not being able to lift what I really want. It is a challenge, and fun one at that.
WOD - 3RFT:
- 20 Pull ups
- 10 KB swings (70lbs)
- 10 Snatches (115lbs)
I finished around 12:20 at RX+ and was pretty happy with that. Pull ups are tough for me but was able to do sets of 10 in the first round, then broke them up into 5s for the rest of the rounds. I wanted to go with the RX weight on the snatches, but as we got close to go time, I couldn’t find any more of the 5lb plates, so I just tossed the 10s on and rolled with it. In the end, I was happy with picking the 70lb KB and the heavier weight on the snatch. The pull ups are always a challenge for me, so the heavier weights really made me work harder this morning, making it all pretty tough.
