Insert clever CrossFit title here…
Feeling a little sluggish, like my body is fighting off a cold. Seems to take a little longer to get up and moving this week. Tried a new pre & post workout drink concoction based on a friends suggestion. Really liked it. Will test it out and see how it goes but so far I love it.
WOD - 3RFT:
400m run
15 power cleans (145lbs)
15 hand release push-ups
*Time - 14:18
RX was 115lbs on the cleans and I opted to bump it up. Despite working on my running lately I felt the slowest during the 400m. So I focused on my breathing and tried to keep a good pace on the run. Instead of trying to do as many power cleans unbroken as I could, I tried a little different strategy, and dropped the bar after every rep and then got right back on it. I think it made a big difference for me. Rather than doing 10 reps and having to pause, I caught my breath after each rep.
Cash Out:
26 wall balls (20lbs) unbroken (Trainers choice)
5x3 snatches @ 135lbs
