“Nancy” (5 rounds)
Benchmark workout day. The trainers walked around and checked us off on our form with the bar before we did the WOD. I felt good, feet felt good, ankle felt good. So I ran. First time running in a WOD in over 4 weeks. Round 3 was the toughest and where I noticed how not doing cardio has hurt me. I will get better. The overhead squats didn’t bother me too much and they are starting to feel more and more natural.
I had never done Nancy before. We did a variation of it last year with overhead squats and a hill run, so it wasn’t the same. I remember thinking how heavy 95 was to hold over head. Not so much this time.

On a side note, we were putting up the weights after the workout and out of curiosity I wanted to see how hard a one arm barbell snatch would be. One of the guys was using 75# so I snatched it without too much trouble. Kinda cool to walk over to the bar someone used during the WOD and one arm snatch it.
