I hate workouts like this.I love workouts like this.
If you asked me to program a WOD, I would most likely include none of these.  I hate them all.  I suck at them all.  I can do none of them quickly.  So it is a great thing that this was the workout.  But first, since the gods of CrossFit have a sense of humor and know I did a killer leg workout Saturday, here was what we started off with…
Strength - Back Squat:
135 x 5
185 x 5
205 x 5
255 x 3
275 x 3
The WOD itself was horrible.  Man-makers are horrible.  They suck the very life from you.  I just tried to stay moving, though I felt really winded and tired.  I scaled T2B to K2E and hate them both.  This WOD, if named, would have been called “Things Jason Cannot Do”.  Time was 19:20.
Post-WOD - Row:1025m (4:18)
I am really learning to appreciate these workouts, though.  I kid around about sucking at them, and trust me, they are hard for me.  But these are where I really grow.  Not so much at the stuff I am better at, but here.  I could chose to mope around and be upset that I was one of the last ones to finish.  Hell, I could lie about my time on the board just to make me look better among my peers.  Or I could be thankful that I have the ability to come in and exercise.  I could be thankful that I am still growing, still being challenged, still learning.  And that is just what I am going to do.
