Hit the pool last night, my first time in the water trying to do any real swimming. My goal was to just get an introduction. I was not trying to set any records or do anything super wild in there. I did a few laps, took a break, did a few more, took a break, practiced kicking my legs, took a break. You get the idea.
A buddy gave me this swim cap and I told him I was going to write “Not A” above the logo so that the others in the pool didn’t get confused.
It took me all of 3 minutes to remember why I hate places like Gold’s and why I love my CrossFit gym so much. Had to wait for teenagers, who were chatting while they walked up and down the lanes, and also got to listen to some guy spew profanity as he tried to talk to someone else. Maybe I should put my earplugs in right before I walk in the door. Just don’t get all that at the box.

I was excited for not drowning too when I went a few weeks ago! Now the adventure begins. :-)
