The road is too wet for two wheels…
…but not for two feet.

Longest distance since Tough Mudder.
We had planned on a 40 mile bike today but with the heavy rain yesterday and light rain today, the roads are far too wet. But with the mist I could still get out and stretch my legs. So that is just what I did. And it felt amazing. I didn’t really have a distance planned, but wanted to run at least a 5K. At around the 1.5 mile mark I still felt good so I thought I would just keep going. Glad that I did.

Last year I ran with my iPhone using Nike+ and while that setup was great, I have to admit, that running with a Garmin and iPod Shuffle is even better. Just feels volumes lighter to me for some reason. More importantly, I dont have to listen to the phone beep, buzz, and vibrate from emails and texts. Felt even more free turning it off and leaving it at home.

What you said about the Garmin and Ipod - Am jealous. I want to be there I hate running with my phone and having it slip off my arm and risk someone calling and on and on. I WANT TO BE FREE TO!! Oh and nice job on the workout! :o)
