WOD: 12 Min AMRAP
Didn’t really get into this warm-up that much but I liked that they mixed it up. I don’t mind the typical CF warm-up but changing it every so often really helps me for some reason. Sets the tone right.
I have been having some pain in the back of my left heel and think I have pin pointed it to the running at CF. I wear a different pair of shoes to CF and think that is what is causing it. So I subbed rowing for the 800m warm-up jog. As soon as I can get my hands on some extra duckets, I am getting some better shoes for CF.
Wasn’t sure about how the 115# thruster would be but knew that I could easily do the 115# power clean, so that is the weight that I went with. Pull-ups are always tough for me but I did the best that I could. Was 2 pull-ups short of 5 rounds. Bothered me a bit because I knew I stalled too much during this workout. But in the end, the trainer said “Look at how far you have come. When you first started you probably couldn’t do one round of this.” All about perspective.
