I need a new doctor

I am still in shock sometimes that we have been keeping up with this as long as we have. But then again, a lifestyle change is not a 90 day program, it is a permanent adjustment. So here is yesterdays meals/snacks.
Breakfast:
2 egg whites (Egg Beaters)

Biking at Yellow River
Some friends and I hit the Yellow River Trails the other day for some fun. If you follow my blog here you know that I just posted a photo of my arm all jacked up. Well, that was this trip. We are all photographers as well and during the rides we stop to take some photos. Thankfully there were no photos of me actually busting my butt, but a few after I fell. :-)

Long Run
Now that I have signed up for my first half-marathon, my running is different. I am no longer just running, but training for something (as a friend put it). And I like the change in mindset. Once a week I will be going for a long run, and did that on Saturday. Since this is a little long, you can read more after the jump.

Half-Marathon? Why Not?

Vacation
So this mornings run was my first back from vacation and it was a tough one. I ran while I was on vacation, mainly because the “fitness rooms” in the hotels were a joke.
